IVCA Announces 2013 Awardees

Each year the IVCA celebrates our industry with the Annual Dinner to honor individual members and outstanding companies from the private equity/venture capital community.

The honorees for 2013 are:

• Stanley C. Golder Award.  The Golder Award honors individuals who have made profound and lasting contributions to the private equity industry in Illinois.
• Richard J. Daley Award.  The Daley Medal honors a single individual who has given extraordinary support to the State of Illinois while participating in or being an advocate for the venture capital and private equity community.
• The Fellows Medal. The Fellows Medal recognizes individuals for their outstanding contributions to the venture capital and private equity profession and to the Illinois Venture Capital Association (IVCA). 
• Portfolio Company of the Year.  This award recognizes and Illinois company that was backed by private equity, experienced substantial revenue growth, and has had a realized liquidity event with outstanding results for fund investors.
• Portfolio Company of the Year- This award recognizes and Illinois company that was backed by venture capital, experienced substantial revenue growth, and has had a realized liquidity event with outstanding results for fund investors.
