IVCA is seeking nominations for our 2013 Awards presentation to be held on December 9^th, 2013.  Please send the name of your nominee to [email protected].  The actual nominating form with background detail will be completed (with your input) by IVCA.

The IVCA Portfolio Company of the Year Award recognizes a venture capital-backed and a private equity-backed company based on the following criteria:

• Company is located in Illinois
• Is/Was VC or PE backed, had a realized liquidity event in 2011 or 2012 and the exit was successful for investors (and must share investor returns information - not for publication)
• Recognizable metrics of success
• High multiple at exit 
• Dramatic increase in employment 
• Dramatic increases in top/bottom line 
• Unique and lasting innovation 
• Speed to achieve key milestones
