Chicago, IL – September 2017   Prairie Capital V supported Tower Engineering Professionals (“TEP”) in its acquisition of Egan Realty Services, Inc. (“ERS”), thereby strengthening TEP’s industry-leading position through the addition of site-acquisition services, 28 highly-committed employees and a Charlotte office location. The TEP and ERS combination provides for a natural business and cultural fit given the two companies have collaborated to meet client needs for more than a decade.

For the past 15+ years, ERS has been a leading site acquisition and project management organization known for its commitment to exemplary customer service and expertise in completing large and small-scale telecommunications projects. Based in Charlotte, NC, ERS provides a variety of site acquisition services to carriers and tower owners, including small cell and in-building site acquisition services, building permit/notice-to-proceed, and macro site amendments.

This highly strategic acquisition expands TEP’s capabilities to become a more turnkey service provider to its customers, broadens the platform’s geographic and channel reach, and offers meaningful cross-selling opportunities between both businesses. Additionally, the acquisition allows for the sharing of resources and best practices between the two companies to make for a more powerful and focused platform to better meet the needs of telecom customers.

The acquisition of ERS increases TEP’s total workforce to over 380. TEP is a national telecom engineering services firm with offices in Raleigh, NC; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Charlotte, NC; Seattle, WA; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Tampa, FL; Indianapolis, IN; and Rockaway, NJ.
