Growth Catalyst Partners -Updated  March 2020

Associate Candidate Opportunity -
Growth Catalyst Partners, a middle market private equity firm is looking to add two additional Associates to their team. The firm has offices in Chicago, IL and Rowayton, CT and is looking to add one Associate in each office. The preference is for an immediate start, though there is flexibility for a summer 2019 start for the right candidate.
The firm is targeting candidates with at least two years of investment banking and/or private equity experience, with a preference for those with experience in the firm’s target sectors. Associates are given high levels of responsibility on very lean teams and participate in all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, evaluating, performing due diligence on, structuring, monitoring, and exiting investments. The work includes financial modeling, valuation analysis, industry research and analysis, writing internal memoranda & presentations, drafting legal documentation, managing debt providers and third-party advisers, and working closely with CEOs and senior managers of portfolio companies.
Growth Catalyst Partners focuses on control buyouts of information, marketing and tech-enabled services businesses. Its strategy involves targeting growth segments of industries and identifying market leading companies with breakout potential. GCP partners with top executives within those industries and provides capital and expertise to the incumbent management teams of the targeted businesses. Portfolio companies include Opus Agency, Beachfront Media, Trendline Interactive and CyberRisk Alliance.
Growth Catalyst Partners is investing out of its first fund and this is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing, entrepreneurial private equity firm on the ground floor. The opportunity exists for this position to turn into a career track position for top performers.
